Move Better, Breathe Better, Feel Better

Your FREE 7-Day Tai Chi Starter Pack

A simple, beginner-friendly series to help you melt tension, breathe easier, and feel more balanced — even if you think you’re “too stiff” for Tai Chi.

NOTE: The video here is a temporary placeholder until I get the real one finished concerning the classes and emails.

It's a really interesting video though, as it's narrated by my teacher, Peter Ralston about real truths and facts concerning the fight between his teacher Wong Chia Man and Bruce Lee back in the 1960s. I hope you enjoy and sign up for our emails!

TESTIMONIALS

What students are saying

"That pain is completely gone"

Hi, my name's Keith, and I've been doing Tai Chi with Mike for a few years now. Before I started the classes, I had a fair bit of pain in my left shoulder, rotating it, and after doing the Tai Chi form and the Qigong exercises, that pain is completely gone. I always feel so much better leaving the classes, both mentally and physically. Mike's a great teacher as well. He's able to convey his vast knowledge of Chinese medicine and Tai Chi in a really understandable and fun way. If you're unsure about going to the classes, give it a go. It's well worth it. - Keith

"Expect plenty of interesting lessons"

A friendly, skilful environment where Mike explains techniques and principles clearly and encourages everyone no matter their current ability to expand their potential. Mike’s deep knowledge of Cheng Hsin provides a foundation for anyone to really excel in the various disciplines that make Cheng Hsin such a unique and powerful system. Expect plenty of interesting lessons, filled with insight and Mike’s always entertaining anecdotes, that really help you understand and grow. - Jamie

"Recommend Wholeheartedly"

I have been  attending Mike’s tai chi classes for about 7 years with my husband. We both find the classes very beneficial physically and mentally. Mike is a very knowledgeable and experienced tutor with a friendly, relaxed style. I would recommend his classes wholeheartedly.

"Such a pleasurable way to exercise"

I joined the tai chi classes a year and a half ago and I’m thoroughly enjoying them. The qigong exercises help my breathing technique as I suffer from asthma. Tai chi helps me greatly with my balance and co-ordination and it is such a pleasurable way to exercise

Meet Your Instructor

My name’s Mike Hart, and I’ve been exploring and teaching the martial and healing arts since the 1970s — everything from Kung Fu and Judo to Tai Chi, Qigong, and Cheng Hsin.

Over the last 40+ years, I’ve helped thousands of people rediscover freedom of movement, balance, and confidence in their own bodies.

When I first started Tai Chi, I thought I had to already be flexible, coordinated, or “spiritual” to get it right. Truth is — I was stiff, impatient, and had no idea what relaxation really meant. Like you, I just wanted to feel good in my body again and stop the aches and stiffness that were creeping in.

Fast forward a few decades — I move better now at 60 than I did in my 30s. I wake up without stiffness, I teach full-time, and I see the same transformation in my students every week. People who once struggled to bend, balance, or even breathe deeply now move with ease, strength, and calm.

And here’s what I want you to know…

👉 You don’t need to be fit, young, or flexible to start Tai Chi.

👉 You don’t need fancy gear, incense, or years of study to feel real change.

Once you understand a few simple principles about how your body is meant to move, you’ll quickly start feeling stronger, looser, and more balanced — often within the first few sessions.

That’s exactly why I set up the local classes and online course (course coming soon) — to give anyone, anywhere, a genuine Tai Chi experience that delivers real results you can feel, not vague philosophy or slow, confusing routines.

Now, you might not care who I am or how many decades I’ve been doing this.

What matters is — can I help you feel and move better?

The short answer: yes.

These classes (and the course) have already helped countless people rediscover their natural balance and energy — and it can do the same for you.

You’ll follow a proven, step-by-step process to unlock effortless movement, reduce pain, and build a body that supports you — not fights you.

I will be hosting live Q&A sessions, share ongoing updates, and I’m here to personally guide you every step of the way.

Let’s begin your journey toward balance, strength, and ease — and prove that getting older doesn’t have to mean slowing down
